Bob grew up in Niagara Falls New York. At the age of 18 he joined the Navy as an Aviation Electrician. During boot camp, he volunteered for Aircrew school and after a few years of training, Bob started his Naval career flying EC130Q aircraft (sorry, his job was classified and we can’t talk about it). For his first shore duty rotation, Bob became a drug, alcohol, and weight control counselor for inpatient and outpatient treatment. After 3 years, it was time for sea duty again and Bob who never backs down from a challenge decided to volunteer for the P-3 Flight Engineer program. Bob completed the program at the top of his class and after completing his internship, he became a Flight Engineer and then the squadron NATOPS Instructor Flight Engineer. Not done yet, he went to the Flight Engineer school in Jacksonville, Florida to become a classroom instructor teaching new engineers. Bob received many awards during this Naval career, Five Navy Achievement medals, National defense Service Medal, Four Sea Service deployment ribbons, Two Southwest Asia Service Medals, Three Nave “E” ribbons, Kuwait Liberation Medal, NATO Medal Armed Forces Service Medal, Four Navy Good Conduct Medals, etc. to name a few.
After his career in the Navy he wanted to start a career in health and fitness, so he became a personal trainer, cycling instructor, yoga instructor, Pilates instructor and later a PiYo instructor.
Now it was time for Bob to start his own business, he started RPC Computers Inc. in Orange Park Florida. After 10 years of a successful business, it was time to live his childhood dream, to work in the health care field.
Bob had a conundrum, what job could he start at 50 years old? After exhaustive research, Bob came up with the answer, he would just ask his wife what to do. It worked, she came up with PTA and Bob started down the road to his true dream job. Now, Bob is a newly licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of North Carolina and ready to start his next adventure helping others.
